    • Recurrence relations and generating functions
    • Discrete probability:
      • Events and random variables
      • Conditional probability, independence
      • Expectation, variance, standard deviation
      • Binomial, poisson and geometric distributions; law of large numbers
    • Some topics from graph theory: paths, components, connectivity, Euler paths, Hamiltonian paths, planar graphs, trees
